An iconic night in Amsterdam Fashion Week: where style meets the street
On Thursday evening, September 4th, 2025, Vogue Netherlands once again transformed the chic PC Hooftstraat into the center stage of Amsterdam Fashion Week during Vogue Downtown 2025. The street filled with familiar faces, loyal Vogue readers and fashion lovers from all over, all gathered to celebrate the new season in style.
As always, Vogue curated a perfect mix of fashion, beauty and entertainment: from boutiques that kept their doors open late with cocktails and music, to an exclusive Vogue fashion show featuring Dutch designers. And of course, Rob Peetoom was there.
Runway looks
The highlight of the night was without a doubt the fashion show, where the entire crowd was standing front row. For this runway, the Rob Peetoom team was responsible for every hair look. The show opened with the glamorous creations of David Laport, followed by Martan, the upcycling brand known for its fresh colors and maritime influences. Closing the show was Tess van Zalinge, who effortlessly blended couture details with ready to wear designs. Rob Peetoom’s hairstyling elevated every moment on the runway, from sleek sculpted lines to effortless textures, each perfectly complementing the designer’s vision.

Beyond the runway, Rob Peetoom teamed up with Redken for a beauty pop up where Vogue Downtown guests could have their hair styled according to the latest runway trends. The Rob Peetoom stylists worked exclusively with Redken’s professional products, including the powerful Acidic Bonding Concentrate range, designed to strengthen hair and deliver luminous shine. From slicked back styles to effortless waves, the catwalk looks became instantly wearable for every guest. The pop up quickly became a popular spot, giving beauty lovers the chance to experience firsthand how the right products and techniques translate high fashion runway trends into everyday hair.
