Rob Peetoom Williamsburg – Terms & Conditions

These general terms and conditions are used by Rob Peetoom Williamsburg LLC, operating under the name Rob Peetoom Williamsburg (“Rob Peetoom”). These terms apply to all agreements between Rob Peetoom and its clients that are concluded in the salon, by telephone, through the online booking platform, or through the Rob Peetoom App.

The online booking platform and app are part of the same system, allowing you to conveniently schedule, modify, or manage your appointments online.

Use of the Online Booking Platform and App

When booking online, you must provide complete and accurate information. Please review all appointment details, including your name, artist, date, and service, before finalizing. Providing incorrect or incomplete information may result in an invalid booking and/or loss of any pre-paid amounts. Always double-check before submitting your request.

Appointments

Appointments are made directly with Rob Peetoom. Your booking is valid for the specific date and time reserved. We may reach out in advance to confirm attendance. We make every effort to maintain punctuality; however, services may occasionally run over. In
such cases, a brief wait may occur, and we appreciate your understanding.

 

Bookings are considered final, subject to the cancellation terms below. Changes or cancellations arepossible up to 24 hours before haircut, styling or color services, and up to 48 hours before long appointments. After these times, the full amount of the booked service will be owed, and any deposits will not be refunded, except where Rob Peetoom determines otherwise at its discretion.

 

It is important to arrive on time. If you are not present within 15 minutes of your scheduled start, the appointment may be released and treated as a late cancellation/no-show. In that case, you will owe the full service amount, and deposits will not be refunded.

 

Rob Peetoom reserves the right to refuse or cancel an appointment for valid reasons, including repeated no-shows, misuse of the booking system, or safety concerns. In the rare event that we must cancel an appointment on our end, any pre-paid amount will be refunded to the original payment method within 5–10 business days.

Payments and Fees

All services must be paid in full at the time of checkout. For select services, a deposit may be required at the time of booking. Deposits are applied to the final bill and are non-refundable if you cancel or reschedule inside the policy window.

 

A credit card processing fee applies to all card transactions. The standard surcharge is 3%, this fee is set by our payment processor. If you prefer to avoid this fee, debit options are available at the salon.

 

A $4.50 sustainability fee is applied to each visit. This fee directly supports our ongoing environmental initiatives, including waste reduction, water and energy conservation, and recycling programs through Green Circle Salons.

 

Refunds for eligible cancellations (those made within the allowed timeframe) are processed within 5–10 business days to the original payment method. Gratuities are at your discretion and may be given by cash or venmo.

Pricing

Our service menu and price ranges are provided as guidance and may be adjusted periodically to maintain our quality standards. Final pricing depends on factors such as hair length, density, timing, and product usage. Your artist can provide an estimate prior to beginning your service.

Gift Cards

Digital and physical gift cards must be paid in full at purchase. Unless otherwise specified, gift cards are valid for 12 months from the date of issue and can be redeemed online or in-salon. Gift cards are non-refundable, not redeemable for cash, and cannot be replaced if lost or stolen.

Service Quality, Adjustments, and Liability

Our artists take pride in delivering the highest level of craftsmanship and care. If you are unsatisfied with your service, please contact us within 7 days so we can review your experience and, if appropriate, offer a complimentary adjustment. We do not offer monetary refunds for services.

 

Certain treatments — particularly color — involve chemical components that, in rare cases, can cause reactions. Clients are responsible for informing their artist of any allergies, sensitivities, medications, recent treatments, or pregnancy prior to service.

 

Rob Peetoom is not liable for results or reactions resulting from incomplete or inaccurate client information, previous chemical or mechanical damage, or aftercare choices made outside our recommendations.

Health, Safety, and Right of Refusal

For your wellbeing and the integrity of your hair and scalp, our artists may decline or modify a service if they believe it is unsafe or unsuitable. We also reserve the right to refuse service in cases of inappropriate, disrespectful, or disruptive behavior toward our staff or other guests.

Personal Belongings

Please keep your belongings with you during your visit. Rob Peetoom is not responsible for any lost or damaged personal items brought into the salon.

Communications and Privacy

By booking an appointment, you agree to receive confirmation and reminder messages by email and/or text. Client information is treated confidentially and used solely for service-related and brand communications in accordance with our privacy standards.
